The warmth of summer has begun to fade, but as winter approaches, the excitement warms up. We have selected a few of the magnificent events hosted in and around Launceston this April.
Crazy Day 2016Saturday 2nd April 2016
Enjoy the city centre on April 2, with many shops and retailers providing crazy specials on Crazy Day! There will be activities for the kids throughout the city, and various entertainment such as magic shows, bands and performances. Saturday is a great day to enjoy Launceston City.

The Western Tiers Cycle ChallengeSunday 3rd April 2016
Prospect Park Sports Ground, Harley Parade, Prospect Vale - 8:00pm
Cycle through the northern countryside of Tasmania, and raise money for the New Horizons Club Inc. With a number of different rides scheduled, there is a suitable ride for everyone!

They Saw a ThylacineMonday 5th April 2016
Princess Theatre - 7:30pm
Set in 1936 when the last known Tasmanian Tiger dies in captivity, Sarah Hamilton and Justine Campbell conjure the ghost of a thylacine.

Popular comedian Tommy Little, and support acts Mick Lowenstein, Emesha Rudolph and Bill Armstrong come to Launceston this April, bringing with them hours of laughs and entertainment.
