With Festivale to kick off the month, Launceston is off to a great start in February! The iconic, annual summer festival is back alongside RACT Symphony Under the Stars, John Williamson in town for one show only and Sky Racing to end the month with a touch of glamour.

Perhaps the biggest yearly event in Launceston dare we say? Festivale will start on the 1st Feburary, late afternoon and continue on until Sunday, 3rd Feburary, concluding late afternoon, 3 days of Festival fun.
Festivale brings together a line up of musical acts alongside culinary delights from across the Tasmania to share what the island state has to offer, including wine, produce, beers and entertainment.

Uncover the cocktail dress from the back of the wardrobe and don your favourite millinery masterpiece for this one night only event for all the community. Bookings are essential for catering purposes.

This annual free event is like no other, held every year in Launceston it showcases the amazing talent of the highly acclaimed Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, this year compered by Christopher Lawrence and conducted by Benjamin Northey, whilst enjoying the atmospheric surrounds of City Park in the summer.
Attendees are encouraged to take along a picnic, with alcohol permitted, but no glasswear or metal cutlery. This year tickets are required for entry, although the event is free, organisers would like to gather an accurate understanding of the attendance and for safety and communication purposes have opted for this solution.
