Music in the Park 2019 is proudly organised by the City of Launceston, a great initiative for all the family to enjoy. Set against the picturesque beauty of the park, live entertainment will be on offer along with a jumping castle and free City Park Train rides. Sunday, 6th January will kick of the event with Evan Carydakis Trio at the City Park Band Rotunda. Evan Carydakis is a jazz musician with over 25 years playing experience.

Join the artists Mandy Hnniford in a live discussion with Aboriginal Linguistic Consultant to the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, Theresa Sainty and Tasmanians Midlands Farmer, Julian Von Bibra and hear them speak in response to Mandy's exhibition The Midlands: Whimsy and Pathos.
The panel discussion will be for 1 1/2 hours. Entry is free, however spaces are limited. Click the link to register your spot.

MONA FOMA wil be launching on the 13th January and running until the 20th Januray, that makes the most of the month filled with creative festival activities to fill your diary.
The program has a large line up of events, including Underworld (UK), Neneh Cherry (SWE), Kuniko Kato (JAP), Courtney Barnet (AUS), Bansheeland (AUS), plus DOZENS more! Head to the website link to read the full program and book your tickets.

Time for a night of comedy! Cecila Pacquola, from Rosehaven and Have You Been Paying Attention fame, will be performing live for one show only and sure to tickle the laughter out of you. Plus an amazing support act by Geraldine Hickey (Comedy Next Gen, Comedy Up Late, Oxfam Gala) and Kelly Fastuca (Worst First Date Podcasts).
